Where We Are

The Bed and Breakfast is in the Chianti Area, Tuscany, only 20 km from Florence and 40 km from Siena, surrounded by other Tuscan art cities, the perfect location for those wishing to explore Tuscany.

The Bed and Breakfast is at 5 km from the town of Greve in Chianti where you can find shops, restaurants, pizzerias, cafés and supermarkets. The tourist information office is located just off the main central pretty market square. In order to to reach Ancora del Chianti – Country BB and Art Yoga Retreat in Tuscany from Greve in Chianti, you will need to drive on the main asphalted road for 3km before continuing for just 2km on a dirt road. Having a car is a necessity in order to reach the property as there is no taxi service in Greve in Chianti.

HOW TO REACH US:

FROM FLORENCE OR ROME:
From the A1 motorway (Autostrada A1 E35), exit at Firenze Sud and follow the signs for Siena and Greve in Chianti on the SR222.  Pass through the towns of Grassina, Strada in Chianti, Chiocchio, Spedaluzzo, Le Bolle and in the small town of GRETI (20.7 km after starting out on the SR222) follow the signs for “Ancora del Chianti”.
Take the road leading you up the hill, which eventually becomes a dirt road.  Drive slowly and after 1.5km turn left.  Keep to the right at the next sign which indicates the last 400mt.  The house is at the end of the lane.  WELCOME!!!

FROM SIENA:
From Siena take the SR222 towards Castellina in Chianti.  Once you have passed through the town of Greve in Chianti you will come to the small town of GRETI where you will see signs for “Ancora del Chianti”.  Following these signs will take you on a road up a hill, which eventually becomes a dirt road.  Drive slowly and after 1.5km turn left.  Keep to the right at the next sign which indicates the last 400mt.  The house is at the end of the lane.  WELCOME!!!

FROM PISA:
Take the highway FI-PI-LI (Firenze – Pisa – Livorno) indicated with the blue signs, towards Firenze and exit at Ginestra Fiorentina, (the next exit after Montelupo Fiorentino).  From here follow the signs for Cerbaia and San Casciano.  From San Casciano follow the signs to Greve in Chianti (do not take the highway to Siena).  Pass through the town of Mercatale, still heading for Greve in Chianti, and after the town of Passo dei Pecorai, in the small town of GRETI follow the signs for “Ancora del Chianti”. Take the road leading you up the hill, which eventually becomes a dirt road.  Drive slowly and after 1.5km turn left.  Keep to the right at the next sign which indicates the last 400mt.  The house is at the end of the lane.  WELCOME!!!
